Support leadership in compliance efforts to meet and sustain the regulatory compliance efforts of the department and hospital. Sustain a working understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. May perform cross-functional duties with related positions when needed. Provide assistance for recruitment activities when needed. Ensure department staff has necessary documents for maintaining calendars, meetings, travel, etc.

Organize and maintain file/record system. Schedule meetings for appropriate staff and prepares/documents/scans, labels, photocopies, etc. Request and orders office supplies or other miscellaneous items. Follow divisional documentation procedures. Perform various administrative functions of departmental operations while providing daily support on operational issues. May assist in automating existing processes or recommend changes to management. Respond to, process, and/or track all related requests.

May provide data collection, input, mining, and/or analysis. May improve/maintain processes, operations, and/or performance using available data or assist in this process. Generate reports as needed and disseminate to appropriate individuals. May audit data as necessary to ensure accuracy. Maintain, monitor, organize, input, and/or ensure integrity of data and/or records. May respond and follow up with referrals and inquiries from patient families, efficiently and effectively resolving issues. Ensures work areas are organized and safe.

May perform procedures, collect data, analyze data, and inform clinical decisions regarding patient care, including initial screening, assessment, diagnosis, prognosis, care and reassessment. May clean and maintain equipment, order inventory, and restock supplies. Support clinician in room preparation, patient preparation for appointments, and patient care activities within scope of practice. SCOPE: To provide assistance with patient related activities within a clinical discipline. Positions in this subfunction may monitor or maintain patient or visitor information or bring patients to and from the unit. SUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Coordination of patients and visitors within a unit to ensure operations run efficiently. Expected Starting Salary Range: 16.98 - 20.43
